BEACH HOUSE WITH OCEAN VIEW

Ricky’s beach house is a nice, small wooden house near the Indian Ocean and under the coconuts trees.
Simple but comfortable, the beach house has three bedrooms, one common room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a terrace with coconut and ocean view.
The crew at Ricky’s beach house is there to look after every need you might have whether it is food, a room for the night, entertainment, a trek in the jungle, a walk along the beach…

We want to establish a good sustainable ecotourism project in the small village of Nagari Sungai Pinang, in west Sumatra, Indonesia.

We want to help the development of the village, thanks to the people, the friends, who will come to visit us in the Beach House.
We want them to become a part of the village and feel the real and authentic Indonesian life : to mix with the village life, share with the local people, exchange, discover another culture, other way of life, different way of thinking, far removed from the fast paced western way of life.

We work also to develop the local art by working with local artisan and buy selling their product.

We would like in the future to build more bungalows to accommodate the travelers, but not too many as we wish to keep the genuine soul of the village. We do not wish to end up becoming a mass tourism industry and lose our identity.
